Great location near Nan Luo Gu Xiang street, with good metro access. Helpful staff, using translating app. Family-run place with warm atmosphere. Shared filtered water cooler in courtyard. Good chance to see Hutong layout.

Staff were friendly and helpful, good recommendations for food and tickets, great location near drum tower and houhai, warm room even in the snow.

The hotel is situated in a really interesting area of Beijing, near the Bell & Drum Towers. With its location on the main street and in a suburb with lots of little alley ways to get lost in, it offers a unique and authentic experience. The rooms are cozy and clean, providing a comfortable stay. The staff is kind and cooperative, willing to accommodate any needs. There are also some nearby restaurants offering delicious local cuisine.

The bathrooms have some issues with the drainage system, causing slow draining and an unpleasant smell.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations in many ways. the value for money was outstanding. Considering the affordable prices, I was impressed by the attention to detail and the overall experience provided. Secondly, the hotel's location in a local 'hutong' area was absolutely fascinating. It allowed for an authentic and immersive experience of Chinese culture. Exploring the neighborhood was a delight, with plenty of interesting shops, cafes, and bars to discover. Thirdly, the staff at this hotel were exceptional. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the helpful assistance throughout my stay, they made me feel valued and ensured that my needs were met. Their level of service was truly commendable. Lastly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, with fresh towels provided daily. I also appreciated the fact that breakfast was included, making the mornings hassle-free.
